You already support students. Here's something useful to share.
If you work at a library, community center, nonprofit, or another organization helping students on their way to college, you can share Margin's free Find Your Story tool with them today. We're also inviting three organizations to pilot two months of full Margin access with one student cohort — at no cost.
Who this is for
Libraries. YMCAs, Boys & Girls Clubs, and community centers. First-generation and immigrant-serving nonprofits. Scholarship foundations. Mosques, synagogues, churches, and other organizations that support youth or families.

Why offer this?
We know that many of the students who would benefit most from sustained writing support are also the least likely to have access to it. The free tool gives every organization something useful to share right away. The three-cohort pilot lets us go deeper alongside organizations already serving students — and learn what a longer-term partnership could make possible.
What students receive in Margin

What pilot partners receive
- Community Access Passes — two months of full Margin access for one student cohort. No separate student applications and no means-testing paperwork. Looking to secure full-season access through March 31 instead? See our sponsor page.
- Printable handouts — a simple one-page resource you can include in a FAFSA night packet, a senior meeting, or a workshop handout.
- Partner resources — occasional webinars, guides, and other materials to help you support students through essay season.
- Priority support — a direct line to us, not a general contact form, if you or a student you're helping runs into a question.
- A place on our partner page — recognition for organizations doing this work, if you'd like it. Entirely optional.
How it actually works
1. Tell us about your organization — who you serve, roughly how many students, and whether you're applying for the pilot or exploring another kind of partnership. A couple of sentences is enough to start.
2. If your organization is selected as one of the three pilot partners, we provide Community Access Passes — for one cohort. Each pass gives a student two full months of access, beginning when the student redeems it.
3. You offer the passes to one existing cohort. A class, workshop group, or program can participate together, so staff don't have to select only a few students.
4. Students redeem their pass and receive two full months of unlimited feedback — every personal statement, every college essay, every scholarship essay, and every revision. The full mentor experience.
5. If a student needs more time, they can request it directly — right from inside Margin, without going back through your organization. We review extension requests ourselves.
A note on scale
Margin is opening three no-cost pilot cohorts. Each participating organization may offer one cohort — typically 15–30 students — two months of full access. The number is deliberately limited so we can support each pilot well. Full-season access through March 31 remains available through sponsorship.
