You already support students. We'd like to make that easier.

If you're a library, a community center, a first-gen nonprofit, or any organization that already helps students on their way to college — we'd like to give you something real to offer them, at no cost to you.

Who this is for

Libraries. YMCAs, Boys & Girls Clubs, and community centers. First-generation and immigrant-serving nonprofits. Scholarship foundations. Churches, mosques, synagogues, and other organizations that support youth or families.

If students and families already come to you for help navigating college — this is for you.

Why offer this?

We know that many of the students who would benefit most from sustained writing support are also the least likely to have access to it. Rather than asking organizations to purchase another program, we'd rather equip the people already serving those students with something meaningful they can share.

What partners receive

  • Community Access Passes — a set of full-access passes to Margin's season pass, yours to give to whichever students you believe need them most. No application to us, no means-testing paperwork. You already know your community; we trust that judgment.
  • Printable handouts — a simple one-page resource you can include in a FAFSA night packet, a senior meeting, or a workshop handout.
  • Partner resources — occasional webinars, guides, and other materials to help you support students through essay season.
  • Priority support — a direct line to us, not a general contact form, if you or a student you're helping runs into a question.
  • A place on our partner page — recognition for organizations doing this work, if you'd like it. Entirely optional.

How it actually works

1. Tell us about your organization — who you serve, and how many. A couple of sentences is enough to start; we'll usually follow up with a quick question or two before sending passes, just to make sure they land with real students who need them.

2. We send you a set of Community Access Passes — the number depends on the size of your program and the number of students you regularly serve.

3. You decide who gets them. We don't review, approve, or second-guess your choices. You know the students who need this most.

4. Students redeem their pass and get the full season — every essay, every revision, all the way through decisions.

No money changes hands — that's how the program works during this pilot phase. This is about equipping people who already do this work, not selling you something.

A note on scale

We're a small team, so the number of passes we can offer any one partner is real but bounded — we'll be upfront with you about what's available when you reach out. If your organization uses its full allotment and wants more, that's a conversation we'd genuinely love to have.

If you'd rather see it first

Watch a real walkthrough of the whole process before recommending it to anyone — no cost, no commitment.
