What Margin actually does
A student brainstorms, drafts, and revises their college and scholarship essays with real, specific feedback — grounded in actual admissions-essay judgment, not generic writing advice, and never ghostwritten. It's there at whatever hour they're actually working, not just during a scheduled meeting.
It doesn't diagnose, counsel, or advise on college selection, financial aid strategy, or anything outside the essay itself. It's a writing mentor, and it stays in its lane.
And it's not one-off feedback. Margin tracks a student's essays across the whole season, noticing real growth from draft to draft and naming recurring weak habits — the same continuity you'd expect from ongoing 1:1 mentoring, not a series of disconnected sessions.

Margin exists because not every family can afford a $2,000–75,000+ admissions consultant, and not every student should have to write alone at 11 PM with nothing but a blank page and a deadline.

Full access is $100/month, or $500 for a Season Pass covering August through March — the option that fits most seniors, since it carries them from the first brainstorm through the last scholarship deadline. The first 100 students join the Founding Class and pay $80/month or $400 for the season, locked in for as long as they stay.
Regardless of how a student gets access — nominated, sponsored, or paying — every one of them gets the same real feedback. There is no lesser version.
